The founder
Irshad Ali Khan has spent thirty-three years in travel across the UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia and India. He started in corporate travel in Chennai in 1992 and went on to head sales for Saudia across the UAE and Oman, one of the highest-volume corridors in the region, learning the corporate, retail and airline sides of the industry from the inside. Umrah has been part of his work since the early 2000s, and it taught him what nothing else in the industry could: the weight of responsibility that comes with facilitating an act of faith. umrah.ae is that experience, applied to one journey done properly.

Why we started umrah.ae
The founding team spent three decades in aviation: general sales agency management for Saudia and flyadeal, and GCC travel operations across the region. Alongside that, a long personal involvement in Umrah tourism in Oman and the UAE.
What we kept seeing was a market with plenty of cheap packages and very few people willing to answer a straight question. So we built a small company around the opposite idea: say clearly what is included, name the hotels, tell the truth about timings, and stay on WhatsApp from the first message to the flight home.
